Dine Stopped at Grimaldi’s
When you are craving pizza at Downtown at the Gardens, there’s one place to go — Grimaldi’s Coal Brick Oven Pizzeria. With claims they have the best New York-style thin crust pizza in the world, we wanted to put them up to the test — and were thrilled with what we tasted.
To start the night off, guests were greeted with a glass of Villa Antinori Rosso Wine, a Sangiovese blend from Tuscany, that was full-bodied and soft with tannins.This whet our palates and prepared us for what was to come.
We tasted our way through a variety of their menu items — Caprese Salad, Caesar Salad and thin crust pizza — all of which have made Grimaldi’s an institution. We were impressed from the very first bite.
While the food was impressive and we’ll certainly be back for that, it was the customer service that had everyone talking. The complete package deal is sometimes rare in this market, but definitely a strong point where Grimaldi’s is concerned. We were thrilled to hear that they’ll be opening a second location on Clematis Street in the fall — making it even easier to fulfill our pizza cravings wherever we may be.
