Just in case you didn’t drink and eat enough this weekend, here are some more options for you to get your fill.
Tuesday, September 7: Visit your local III Forks location for a special happy hour event from 5:00-6:30, where guests will be able to taste the featured drink and sample scrumptious hors d’oeuvres. In Palm Beach Gardens, guests will be tasting the IV Pineapple Martini and the Four Orange Martini, in Boca it will be scotch (Glenmorangie 10 year and Talisker 10 year) and in Hallandale, it’s wine (King Estate Pinot Noir and Caravan Cabernet Sauvignon) for you.
Wednesday, September 8: Altamare will host one of their much sought after Pairings and Pours Wine Dinners at 7:30 p.m. Highlights on the menu include Local Trigger Fish Carpaccio with shaved hearts of palm, fuyu persimmon and lemon juice; Goat Cheese Ravioli with roasted tomato and fresh basil; and Veal Roast with lemon butter sage. Each course will be paired with a wine from the Livio Felluga and Capezzana winery. Cost is $65 per person.
Thursday, September 9: Cantina Laredo will host a Tequila dinner featuring 1800, Gran Centenario and Maestro Dobel Diamond Tequilas at 7:00 p.m. in their Hallandale location. Choose between a Grilled Veal Chop with sauteed mushrooms, green beans and roasted potatoes or Sauteed Camarones with sun-dried tomato chipotle sauce. Cost is $49.99 per person.
Friday, September 10: Take a journey around Miami with Miami Culinary Tours. Offered on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, these tours will have you tasting your way through the city. With a Miami local as your guide, you will taste gourmet bites from the area’s top chefs — and have a little history lesson along the way. Ticket prices start at $55.
Sunday, September 12: Spend an evening “On the Red Carpet” at Town Center Mall. Guests will enjoy gourmet food and drink samples from area restaurants, an after-hour shopping experience and live music. Cost is $50 per person and will take place from 7-10 pm.
