Whether you are a hard-core fan or are just in for the ride, the Super Bowl is sure to be filled with great food and drinks and plenty of rivalry. Who will you be cheering for and where will you be this year? Area restaurants are offering some great deals to woo you in.
- Brogue’s Down Under (621 Lake Ave, Lake Worth) will be hosting a pig roast. Chef Joe Angelucci will be serving up a decadent pig roast to get you ready for the game for just $8.95. This includes the BBQ Pig Roast, Coleslaw and Potato Salad. Squares will be available for the Super Bowl. Get there early to grab a good seat and take advantage of their amazing drink specials.
- Grease Burger Bar (213 Clematis St, West Palm Beach) is celebrating the Super Bowl with burgers and beer — and a few extra specials. Starting at 6:00 pm, guests can enjoy domestic buckets (5) for $12 and import buckets (5) for $16. Sliders will be $1.50 each, while wings will be 50 cents each. To add to the energy, Grease has 14 HD flat screen tvs and jello shots will be served at the bar when either team scores. Gift certificates and other prizes will be given out during each quarter.
- Duffy’s Sport Grill certainly has a reputation for being one of the best place to watch any game, the North Miami location (3969 NE 163rd St, North Miami Beach) is at the top of the list — and is South Florida’s largest waterfront sports grill. Starting at 6:30 pm, customers will enjoy game time specials like $11 domestic beer buckets, $15 premium beer buckets and a 2-for-1 happy hour (good for everything in the house — this one starts at 4:00 pm). 200 Plasma TV’s fill the room so you can be assured that you’ll have a great view of the game. For a little pre-game action, check out Duffy’s facebook page and enter to win their Super Bowl facebook contest — and you could be on your way to winning the “Ultimate Game Day Party” complete with a 50-inch Plasma TV and Duffy’s party platters for 15 people. Plus, additional prized will be giving away.
- Calling all Giants fans to Monty’s Sunset (300 Alton Rd, Miami Beach) for a pre-kick off party. Starting at 2:00 pm, Monty’s will be offering a variety of football themed specials included $20 bottomless mimosas for the ladies (with the purchase of an entree), beer specials, wing specials, dinner specials — and 20 TVs to view the game, a full service Tiki Bar and live music.
